Saucekit Terms of Service — Public Alpha

1. Scope and agreement

These Terms govern access to and use of Saucekit's free public alpha, including public skill pages, public-free downloadable installations, email-gated grants, buyer accounts, and hosted skill runtime. Paid checkout is disabled and is not covered by this version.

By requesting access, creating an account, installing a skill, or using the service after being shown these Terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Saucekit. If you use Saucekit for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

These operator-drafted Terms have not yet been reviewed or approved by qualified Portugal or European Union legal counsel.

2. Operator and contact

Saucekit is operated by Lucas Toledo in Portugal. In these Terms, “Saucekit,” “we,” and “us” refer to the service operated by Lucas Toledo; “you” means the person or organization using it.

Questions about these Terms or the service can be sent to support@saucekit.so. Personal-data questions and requests are handled under the Saucekit Privacy Notice.

3. Eligibility, accounts, and access credentials

You may use Saucekit only if you can form a binding agreement under the law that applies to you. If you cannot do so independently, a parent, guardian, or authorized representative must accept these Terms and supervise your use.

A public-free download does not require a downloader email, Saucekit account, grant, payment, or marketing consent. If you separately use an account or email-gated hosted-alpha feature, you must provide accurate account information and protect your email links, passwords, install tokens, provider keys, devices, and sessions.

Personal grants and access credentials for gated features must not be sold, published, shared, or used to bypass a creator's access conditions. Tell support promptly if you believe access has been compromised.

4. Alpha status and service changes

Saucekit is an experimental alpha. Features, interfaces, providers, skill behavior, limits, and availability may change, break, or be removed. The alpha may contain defects and is not designed for safety-critical, emergency, medical, legal, financial, or other high-risk use.

There is no service-level agreement, uptime promise, guaranteed response time, or promise that a skill, account, grant, version, installation, or hosted runtime will remain available. We may change or discontinue the free alpha, with reasonable notice when practical.

5. Creator-authored skills and package integrity

Skills and their descriptions, claims, instructions, examples, helper files, and downloadable content are authored and supplied by creators. Creators are responsible for their content, rights, permissions, claims, legality, and intended use. Saucekit provides hosting, delivery, access, installation, and hosted-runtime infrastructure as applicable; it does not endorse a creator or independently approve a skill or its claims.

When Saucekit presents a package digest or signature, it binds the delivered bytes to the creator account, skill, and version recorded by Saucekit and helps detect alteration during delivery. It is package-identity and transit-integrity evidence only—not an endorsement, quality approval, safety certification, malware-free guarantee, or independent verification of the creator's identity, rights, claims, or intended use.

A skill may install creator-authored files or direct you to third-party software and services. Review the skill page, installed files, commands, requested permissions, and linked terms before use. Additional creator or third-party terms may apply, but they cannot remove rights you have against Saucekit under mandatory law.

6. AI output and model providers

AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing output and deciding whether and how to act on it. Do not rely on a skill or model response as the only basis for a consequential decision.

Depending on the skill, a model request may use a creator-funded credential or a request-local buyer credential with Anthropic, OpenRouter, or another disclosed provider. Provider availability, limits, content rules, costs, and separate terms may apply. Saucekit does not intentionally store request-local buyer provider keys.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Saucekit to break the law; infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights; distribute malware; harass or deceive people; overload or disrupt the service; probe another user's data; defeat access controls, grants, limits, or suspension; extract hosted private rules without authorization; or help another person do those things.

Do not place passwords, provider keys, private customer data, or third-party confidential material inside ordinary prompts, skill content, repositories, archives, or support messages unless Saucekit explicitly provides a protected field for that purpose.

8. Backups, destructive actions, and data loss

Saucekit is not a backup or archival service. Keep independent, recoverable copies of files, repositories, credentials, skill materials, and other data that matter to you. Test recovery paths before relying on them.

Public-free files are installed on your device and run subject to your local environment and permissions. Some skills can inspect local evidence, propose commands, or affect files and software on your device. You control whether to install files, run a command, grant a permission, or approve a destructive action. Review targets, paths, scope, recovery options, and backups first.

Once a public file has been installed or copied, Saucekit and the creator cannot recall or delete that local copy. Creator unpublish or a Saucekit restriction may stop future delivery without changing an existing local copy. We do not guarantee that deleted, overwritten, corrupted, expired, revoked, or unavailable data or access can be recovered.

9. Skill notices, suspension, and ending access

Until Saucekit implements a dedicated skill-reporting flow, send a notice about a specific allegedly illegal, infringing, or harmful skill to support@saucekit.so. Include the exact Saucekit skill URL, the specific reason for the notice, relevant supporting details, and an email address where Saucekit can contact you.

Saucekit may investigate, request clarification, preserve relevant evidence, and restrict future delivery or access when appropriate. This interim email channel does not replace any notice process, explanation, remedy, or other right that mandatory law requires.

We may restrict, suspend, or end access to protect users, creators, rights holders, the service, or third parties; respond to abuse, security, legal, provider, or operational problems; enforce these Terms; or honor a creator's pause or suspension.

You may stop using Saucekit at any time and may request account or personal-data action through the Privacy Notice. Ending access does not automatically erase records that must be retained for security, support, recovery, audit, disputes, or legal obligations.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the free alpha is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make warranties about uninterrupted operation, availability, compatibility, security, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, creator conduct, AI output, or recovery of data or access.

You may have warranties or remedies that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you. Nothing in these Terms removes those mandatory rights.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lucas Toledo and Saucekit are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, opportunity, or access arising from the free alpha, creator-authored skills, AI output, third-party providers, or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights and liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or other non-excludable grounds.

12. Changes to these Terms

These Terms have a version and effective date. Material changes require a new version. We will present the changed Terms for acceptance before relying on them for continued use when re-acceptance is required.

Changes apply prospectively. Continuing to use Saucekit after valid notice and any required acceptance means the updated Terms apply from their stated effective date.

13. Governing law and general terms

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without removing any mandatory consumer protection or other rights that apply based on where you live. Courts and dispute procedures remain available as required by applicable law.

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply where legally possible. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Notice, and any expressly applicable creator or provider terms are the agreement for this free public-alpha use.
